If Apple can make it's ecosystem work in China, why can't Google do as well..??
We're missing the fine details…
You wanna know how Apple did it, that's easy.
The chinese love brand stuff and luxury. Apple became the luxury brand for smartphones worldwide so ofc the chinese are greedy for Apple products.
Apple sold their soul that’s how
John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
FORCED LABOR OF MİNORİTİES hows that not mentioned
I remember watching your videos since you had less than 100K Subs and thinking yeah this channel will someday grow
Samsung killed itself by the explosion battery phones and bad customer service
I still don't understand why the US or American companies allow this. Are they really that short sighted? Only looking at short term profits? Do they not understand that the entire reason China is requiring this crazy arrangement for foreign companies (apart from spying on their own citizens) is so they can learn everything about how they do what they do, and them clone the products and the operation and eventually kick out the American companies once they have achieved parity. They are literally stealing the IP of American companies with this requirement. That's all China knows knows how to do: copy and rip off other ideas and products. That's why China is so polluted with manufacturing fake copies of products, and their government won't do anything to stop them, or to abide by international copyright law.
Chine is an expert cloning & copying machine. So why would Apple and others give it all away? Their data. Their source code. Their manufacturing expertise. It really blows my mind. Watch… soon a new Apple-killer company will spring up in China, heavily sponsored by the Chinese government, and Apple will be harassed and forced to leave China (after investing hundreds of billions thinking they would make it all back, sorry Apple, no). Only then will it dawn on them what the Chinese had planned all that time. Remember, unlike US companies, China doesn't operate on 2, 3, or 5 year strategic plans. They develop 100 year strategic plans. And I'm quite sure that plan does not include Apple's products being #1 in China.
Apple doing it by transferring American technology to China and kissed up to Xijingping
Sad to see the decline of Huawei, wasn't a big fan of them but at least they were much better than iPhone, I worry as other Chinese phone brands gets bigger, US can use the same security justifcation to employ sanctions.
In short, Apple is evil and has no moral standards.
Surely being more dependent on China won’t backfire…
Isn’t it risky to rely on China to this extent? Ji is autocratic & lately micromanages technology companies’ fates.
The biggest reason is the rise of Chinese Android phones, already has Xiaomi, huawei, honor, oppo, vivo, redmi, etc. And meizu, meilan, Nubia etc. back then. And they're much much cheaper at the beginning, and better local ecosystem, better local operating system.
Samsung was just expensive and not really quality difference from the local brands phones really. They don't need Samsung or any other brand. Apple is just the other option.
And apple is doing well recently is mainly because the US trade wars and sactions.
Iphones are a status symbol but i wouldn't buy an iPhone cause they're overpriced and are hard to use
Fun fact
Smartphone market share in these three countries
Japan: Apple, and other Japanese smartphone brand(unsuccessful outside of Japan)
SK: Apple, Samsung other SK smartphone brands(successful in a lot of countries except Japan and China)
China: Apple, Xiaomi, Huawei and other Chinese smartphone brands.(successful in a lot of countries except in SK and Japan)
Apple is all time high in India too right now
Samsung flagships are priced same to iPhone. If you are rich and to spend a thousand usd for smart phone, it is no brainier you buy iPhone.
Apple is Apple. Come on. Every other android brand else is just cheap unprofessional trash
I am both a Samsung and Apple phone user, iPhone resale value is always higher than Samsung Galaxy phone, also Samsung phone tend to lag one year later I have used Note 3, Note 20, s3, s10, s20, s21 are all the same and Samsung has lots of gimmicky features that you never use, as for Apple I have used iPhone 6s Plus iPhone 11, iPhone 12 their system is always smooth even 2 years later. If Huawei wasn’t suppressed by tue US govt. Apple won’t get the No.1 in China even globally
Simple. They allowed censorship from the Gov. Sell outs
5:40 – 6:13: A whole lot about how important Apple is as a client to other component manufacturers, coupled with super fancy adjectives like "*most important* client", "*giant*", "fates tied so closely*", "*kingmaker of the industry", "*incredible* downstream impact", " China desperately wants". All without a single figure to back them up.
How about just say out loud how much of the total revenue of Foxconn, Samsung, TSMC, etc. was actually from Apple? Those figures shouldn't be hard to find.
Instead, you chose fancy adjectives, with specially stressed pronunciation and delivery, to just "emphasize" your point without proving. Be careful, it almost looked like you were trying to pull some sorta wool over my eyes there.
Without numbers to back things up, what you said here in this video isn't news; it's narrative!
And your narrative here is clear: "Chinese market is a mess, with contenders who are fumbling around cluelessly. Apple, on the other hand, is the American hero who had overcame all the unfair hurdles that Chinese government meant for outside businesses. All of China's biggest manufacturers are just damsels in distress, waiting for big handsome Apple to come for the rescue."
Enlightening video. Great channel
What Apple does well is optimizing their devices to work very well and for a long time. Their phones and tablets run very efficiently compared to the Android.
Iphones can sure last a long time. I know friends who still use the Iphone 6(nearly 8 years old!) and it is still working strong.
Most Android Phones will start to crap out after a couple of years.
Samsung tries to be Apple but they are stuck using Android which has remained behind iOS with their app selection and optimizations.
Samsung is ironically the ones keeping Android tablets alive while Google gave up on it.
Apple is the most hypocritical company there is that is why….
It shows that what lgbt and human rights of the US is just talk.. coz in the first place different cultures and social norms are different and thus US shouldn’t impose it values on others.. like Apple it didn’t and respect China law and culture and it worked !
Same happened with Tesla in China. If you follow their politic you will get decent favor.
let's be honest. Apple is able to do business in China ONLY because they gave up their integrity. Chinese gov requires that any phone must be spied on, so apple had to follow
thats the reason i dont use apple. such a double face company, supporting dictatorship and human rights abuse
They have them a backdoor that's how they did it
