The first impression of Subaru would give you plenty of reasons not to get one. Very restrained design, mediocre reliability ratings and a CVT transmission. However, this niche automaker has been showing an upwards trend in sales numbers for the past dozen years and if it weren’t for the lockdowns, yet another record could have been smashed. If you need reasons to explain this success, well these cars do the job and they leave buyers happy, especially those who value passenger safety and a near legendary symmetrical all-wheel drive. 2021 won’t be a revolution for Subaru, but it will make their models better and today we would like you to get acquainted with new models and enhancements to your favorites!

Now standard across the range are Steering Responsive LED headlights, rear-seat reminder system and passengers’ seatbelt warning.

“Mediocre reliability” :/
What are you talking about, with your opening comments? Funny
The Outback Onyx Edition and the Impreza Sport Sedan are the best models they have.
Does anybody know what the yellow, STI-badged Subaru is pictured at 0:07 seconds into this video?
Utter shite
A whole lot of what this guy says, makes no sense at all.
i hate the new headlight design of impreza and forester
My CVT transmission moans terribly with only 90,000 miles on it. I bought this car for the long-haul and now I am second guessing myself
Subarus are very reliable
Tip: Never listen an advice for buying a car, from a guy who's well over 30 and sounds like he is still rolling a scooter. Get your facts straight queerie
What a waste of time. When will you make a real sports car
Am I the only one who finds this new anglular, uneven-shaped headlights design UGLY?
Subaru, please scrap the new design and bring back the old one!
Another observation on CVTs. In Australia we only see Japanese built Subarus. I’ve had many new Subarus and have never heard of a CVT problem on any vehicle of any age. This country experiences temps between -12 and 50 degrees Celsius so climate is not an issue with these vehicles. I had a friend with a new KIA Sorento, a nice solid SUV, in the same environment the gearbox lasted 10K km and had to be replaced. I’ve never heard of a Japanese Subaru gearbox needing replacement. Just sayn
Everyone’s experience is different. Mine with Subaru goes back 30+ years and includes 7 other brands including Fords and GMs. I’m glad you’ve had good experiences with US made Fords but they’re a totally different car to an all weather all terrain vehicle like an Outback.
The nice thing about this video is that they show their ignorance right off the bat so you know you can skip the video and save yourself 11+ minutes. "mediocre reliability" lol
On top of having two Subarus in a row, first ,a 2008 Forester , now 2017 outback, my reliability has been stellar with both of them, on top of just being really wonderful cars to drive around in. I’m looking at a 2021 outback, and I couldn’t believe the resale offer from the dealership , even though I have 85,000 miles on it. It was thousands more than I would’ve gotten from a similar car from the big three from a dealer. Thanks Subaru!
The Subaru gymkhana

CVT or automatic? Preferably manual, then. But that will soon be a thing of the past, I fear. The EV obsession in Europe will also help to ensure that Subaru's will soon be an extinct breed on the 'Old Continent'.
Same with my STI. That's why i bought another. But I keep them stock
medioca reliability ? You have no clue
Subaru is now part of Toyota. Quality and reliability should go up. Toyota wouldn't have touch Subaru even with stick if it was a bad thing to start with.
Id love to see a new forester smoke your v6 mustang
Imagine choosing to make a subaru awd
. This dude too stoopid, its not optional
Subaru will always be the superior line
My WRX is and has been the most reliable car I've ever had/own and has modest amount of modifications
refreshed or rehashed. if you do buy a subaru have fun losing time to amount of recalls and problem that will pop up.
У нас цены будут х2
Subaru's are solid vehicles.
Clearly he may be seeing Subaru for the first time in his life. Subaru reliability has never been mediocre.
I sold cars for 10 years and worked mostly for Honda. To me its pretty simple. I have been leasing Subaru for 18 years now. I live in the Northwest where it rains 8 months out of the year and occasional snow. The Impreza hatchback has everything I need. I'm on my 6th one. I lease because I like to be always under factory warranty. By the way I am happy to say I have never had to use a mechanic. I have many friends that have 200,000 plus miles on there Subarus with almost no problems. There is no such thing as a perfect car but I think the Subarus are as close as you can get.
Who in their right mind says Subaru makes unreliable cars? If you mean heavily modified WRX/STi's sure
Subaru got such a boring line up
since when is a 1 off gymkhana wrx sti a consumer vehicle???
Subaru is the woderfull car! I can drive all the way.
Only car to be more un reliable is a BMW so mediocre reliable is most people experience but AWD and Safety makes up for maintenance
Hey Dude, Subaru is one of the most reliable cars in the world. More reliable then any other American car. Seriously Dude. You have no idea what your talking about.
