  1. Makes a top ten 3DS games list
Chooses two remakes over one of the best original exclusive games on the system
Gives said game a measly shoutout
Like, Samus Returns isn't a bad game… but top 10 all time? Come on now…

  2. Not a bad list but perhaps it could've been better. However… The 3DS has so many good games that it would probably be extremely hard to pick the top 10. I certainly wouldn't be able to. It's pretty amazing how the 3DS had such a consistently good library of games. I wish it could've lasted longer. It's also kinda sad that it didn't sell better. The 3DS itself is pretty refreshing in an era of games being released unfinished. Almost every 3DS game you can just pop in and play. Sure, there are updates for the games but most of the time they only fix bugs, which you might not even notice, and the few ones that add content aren't that significant most of the time, and the games already feel finished. It really is the end of an era. I'm going to continue playing the 3DS and I still have games to buy for it. Thankfully, Nintendo has reprinted various 3DS games recently, games that were harder to find. The reprints have thinner cases than normal ones. Persona Q2 is one of them. I got my copy recently and the case is noticeably thinner. But that's just an example. Search online and you'll find more examples of reprinted games, there might be something that you're eyeing and couldn't get before, but now you have the chance. Game on and long live the 3DS!

  3. The fact that the Pokemon ORAS (Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire) games are not included bothers me. Those games were, and still are perfect in my opinion!

  4. 1: Very happy to see Link between Worlds at top spot.
2: Sad to see Kid Icarus not make top 10
3: Pokemon X/Y should be in place of Ultra Sun/Moon.

  5. Pretty much every top 10 list for the 3ds never include Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D. I think it's one of the best games on that legendary system.

  6. How can SMT IV not be in this list? I swear the amount of disrespect this franchise gets, no wonder the new Soul Hackers 2 hasnt been announced for the Switch

  7. It feels like yesterday when I bought this system alongside MK7 and OOT3D. So many great games to remember, especially the Triple A related ones such as Mario and Luigi: Dream Team, Kid Icarus: Uprising, and Kirby Triple Deluxe.

  8. My top 3
    3. Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. It has super fun and clever puzzles. Haven't played it in a while that's why I don't have much to say about it, just remember it being super fun.
    2. Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I've spent almost 1000 hours on the game. It's so fun. There is so much to do, with customizing your house, filling up your bug/fish/underwater creatures encyclopedia, interacting with villagers, going to the Island and meeting other players, customizing your town and grinding for nice looking gold badges. It's not for everyone but I certainly love it. I highly advise you give it a try if you haven't already.

    1. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. This game has something I'm pretty sure no other 3ds game has to offer. (except for other monster hunter games on the 3ds I played Generations demo and it sucked so im sure it isn't better than 4U) The combat system is amazing. There are 14 different, unique weapons to kill monsters with. Each weapon has it's own unique move set for you to master. Killing monsters is fun because if you watch the way it moves the fight becomes like a dance. You and the monster trade blows back and forth. If you fight the same monster enough times you memorize how it moves and you kill it easily and efficiently no matter how little defense you have Once you kill a monster with your weapon, if you have enough of that monster's parts, you can make some cool armor. There is so much content in this game I've played 100+ hours on one account and I feel like im just starting to get good. So many monsters to overcome, so many different weapons to master, and so many hours im going to lose to this 10$ 3ds game i got at gamestop. It's a game that takes skill, real skill and concentration. So if you get frustrated easily this isn't the game for you.

Glad my 3 favorites made the list lol Let me know your favorites.

  9. I've been collecting for 3ds since the beginning. I have all of the games on this list and a lot of gems that have gone up in price. It's funny to see people scrambling to collect for 3ds now that Nintendo is going to close the eShop. Good luck, people lol

  10. Yo Zelda Spirit Tracks is the ONLY stylus exclusive game I ever liked enough to tolerate! The game also made using the microphone fun.

  11. For fans of the Luminous Arc srpgs on the regular DS, Stella Glow is a must have being the swan song of Imagepoch before they went bankrupt.

Of course the list here is pretty good having told about most of the must have exclusives. Still didn’t expect Zelda to get represented twice. Probably would have added gettint Majoras Mask 3D and the estore version of Link to the Past as well, lol

  12. mine still works well, of all the gaming systems I have, my son chooses to play Zelda A Link Between Worlds every weekend. It's really nice to see it, lots of good memories there.

  13. I will never forget the 3ds era. Such an unique device. I still play with my old 2ds. The switch is amazing but the 3ds will always have an special place in my heart ❤️

  14. Kid Icarus Uprising, is not only one of the most underrated 3DS game but one of the most underrated Nintendo game of all time! Well done Sakurai!!!

  15. The world ends with you was so much dang fun, absolutely loved the wrist rocking action. They did cover 2 Zelda games but majoras mask should’ve at least had a shout out
