16:27 ??????
For the, the divider test were completely ruined by the knife, or even the guy holding it. You can see that, with the cuts with the protactor too.
?Darn that 1st cheesecake was hard to watch! The slicer must be rinsed under hot running water in between slices! Clean slice every time ??
?Instant anxiety with cutting that cheese cake! Wet the knife before cutting!!! ?
Lmao that sliding cake slicer is so stupid. Did someone really think that the cake would slide off the surface it's resting on just because it moves forward?
Simply looking at Dan trying to slice with the curved cake slicer is making me grab my palms and cringe as to how uncomfortable that must feel ?

now I want a big slice of cake.
The cake leveler is supposed to be for 1 layer I thought? Just to level the top?
i dont understand the function of the pushable plastic thing on an otherwise ordinary cake slicer
That first cake looks like it would have made a mess either way, maybe the knife was bad or something, even if you tried to cut it normally it'd still come out from the sides as you pulled your knife out from the look of it.
OH MY GOD IS THAT CAKE YOU CUT WITH THE GREEN THING IN THE BEGGINIGN BOUGHT FROM A STORE ANYWAYS IT LOOKS DELICIOUS
I think the reason why these baking gadgets failed is that most of the baking utensils available lives up to high, if not perfect design. So, there's really no need to try inprovising a new way. It's just my view on the matter, but someone had to say it
Dude has no clue how to use a saw. You dont push in while you saw and with something like this you want the blades slightly angled down so that it doesn’t rise up. I agree that it could be made better but you have no clue what you’re doing.
the oil makes me really uncomfortable
Dan Formosa is such a nice guy!
Dude, are your cakes made of cement??
It needs a level on the top
Not surprised these all sucked. It’s just like almost every product from an infomercial
Curved cake slicer: Could turn it over so the next slice is flat to flat edge. All other issues remain. Basic question is WHY? Why would anyone care for a curved slice of cake?
At least with the leveller the cake was kind of level. His ruler method looked about as level and the as the southern alps
why does he pull the knife up and put you donut. that's why its so messy.
It's like these product designers don't even test their own products lol what a frustrating group of gadgets to trial through
I feel like the cake divider could be totally redesigned. Imagine something like a desk lamp, but it has a laser projector at the top. We can already make laser pointers that show lines, and different kinds of shapes. You could basically have a perfectly stationary laser show you a grid you could follow without actually touching.
I love his shirt.
The cake divider could easily be replaced with a set of pronged wires. Even if there were seven or eight pieces (one for each number) the required storage space would be roughly the same. Alongside this, the reduced bulk and lack of moving parts would make it less destructive to the cake itself. As it is, the product is 100 times more complicated than it needs to be. It's been overdesigned just so it can appear more gadgety and eye catching. Give me five minutes, a pair of pliers, and a box of paper clips, and I could make something that does the same thing but better.
I would love to try #2 just so I could have fun trying to figure out how to get the most slices out of the cake ?
I dont think the first gadget testing was fair, since Dan doesnt know how to cut cake 😀
Youre supposed to wet the knife before cutting into a cake you donut.
My guy you can cut the cake in quarters and the quarters in half a quarter and you got yourself 8 slices of cake. 8 PERFECT slices of cake
17:04 that does not look like a handle
'the 3 layer cake slicer' use a strong thin piece of string, wrap it around and pull both ends to slice. works well, costs near 0.
i thought at 2:33 it said "Succesfully innacurate"
What is the point of the curved slicer
1M VIEWS
Yo all jokes aside but why does Dan make such good circles?
Maybe cause your too old for cake?
In conclusion: don't try innovating cutting cake you pumpkin
"It doesn't deserve to exist" XD .
"I'm in a bit of pain"
YOU PUT A DAMN CLOTH UNDER THE HANDLE. Also, the whole " the edges don't work because they're different" is solved by "FLIPPING THE CURVED SLICER AROUND". Christ
Plsssss help muselk to hit 10 million in youtube @muselk….
The cake divider sucks lol. Maybe it's good for jello but not for someone with cake consistency
Im sorry but who cuts a cake like that, you cut down and drag out not down and back out. Even without using the gadget he destroys it.
