29. The US Govt will have identified BTC as a potential threat to USD (irrespective of the store of value vs currency debate) years ago. As a defensive move, why wouldn’t the US Govt have secretly purchased significant amounts of BTC to “manage” the price?
    We know the USGovt funds military projects in secret “off balance sheet” so why wouldn’t they have done that to defend the USD and their monetary power?
    Please can anyone give a sensible answer to that? James?

44. I really don't get the view that there are a finite amount of coins and at some point they'll all be gone. They're digital assets, more can be made available at a keystroke. My question is who is/are in control of this and can either prevent it happening or conversely, allow this to happen? I'd really love James to answer this!
