Is it weird that this is the first time I have heard about this problem. I had my switch for over a year now
This aged poorly
I still don’t understand drift cuz ive never got it before and i had my switch for a year 1/2
i can’t beat shovel knight plague of shadows cuz every time i land on a platform my guy moves and i die
I've had my Switch for like 4 months and the left joycon drifts when playing Zelda BOTW 🙁
Nintendo needs to fix this
I thought I was the one that actually broke one of my joy-cons. now that I know it's everywhere I'll reach out to Nintendo Support about it.
Everyone:
Left Joycon: Plays Deja Vu music out of left field
I use grip case for this issue, problem solved
I lost 30,000 souls in Dark Souls cause I drifted right off a ledge in Blighttown ?
(I managed to recover the souls, but still) ?
Dorifto
I was going to get a Switch Lite but then I heard about this issue. I didn't even hear it from IGN originally. I heard it from all my friends saying their controllers keep breaking. Guess the Playstation 5 will have to do whenever that thing gets announced. Anyone know whether or not the PS5 controller is gonna have a touchscreen? ?
Had to buy another one because of this. I'll join this suit immediately.
pro controllers having this problem r so annoying
Lite might not have that problem because they are not remove able because every scene we had the with remove joy con and drifting Nintendo maybe have to take a look at older game controllers that they in the past to see what went wrong
I've had my switch for a year now. And the joy cons just started to drift on me
Can someome please message yongyea and boogie2988 to make videos in the matter by tweeting them. I don't have twitter.
In open world games for example fortnite, it makes my character look down randomly
I had to stop playing Splatoon because the drift affected my joycons and my pro controller ?
Not only does the joycon drift but also their usb pro controllers (I’ve been through 2) & the 1st wireless pro controller I bought had input button problems honestly it just seems like they don’t know how to build proper controllers for the switch. I have a new pro controller now but every time I have a session I get scared it’s gonna start to drift because of all the problems they gave me in the past.
I actually have now three pairs of joycons as I only play in portable mode. The first two had gotten the super annoying drift issue.
Few weeks ago the I bit the bullet and bought the replacement sticks of amazon (15 euros) and fixed them myself with the help of Spawn Wave videos.
Best thing I did for my switch now I have 2 spare sets.
This is why I prefer digital controllers over analog ones, IME analog sticks are so easy to break–I just prefer the durability of digital D-pads
Not a response at all. Not sure I’ll be buying the Lite now.
I feel like the Nintendo response is automated. It’s the exact same thing they reply give with everything.
Never had a problem with drift.. so i dont know what the fuss is about… lol..
but ign.. c’mon… the joke once may have been cute.. 15 times later in 3 minutes.. not so much.. you all can do better… strive for greatness guys..
This is a major problem if they acknowledge it then that's millions of joycons returned
I was about to buy one back in january, and BOI i'm glad i didn't
Where can I get the NES mock up posters which are often seen in videos where you see the hosts?
Can they just update the joy cons already like cmon
Thank you there finally taking about this I bought another pair of joy cons and they didn't even survive 3 months and I'm very careful with them because they $70 :/
The same thing happens to PowerA's Xbox controllers purchased off Amazon, possibly similarly manufactured joy-cons. I smell a Joy 'Con' type Gate coming.
I delicately take care of my switch like if it's very fragile and I still ended up getting joycon drift on my controller, even my left speaker on my switch cuts to mute sometimes.
So…are you going to fix the problem Nintendo?
No?
Nah?!
A’ight…
The thing is, Xbox controller suffer from the same problem (not sure about the PlayStation) and they’re doing nothing about it too.
