I don't blame Sony, or any company, for wanting to skip E3. The presentation content and games have become secondary to all of the memes and cringe videos that get cranked out after each conference. Why spend loads of money putting on shows that are just going to get torn apart online for things like "XBox guy blinks weird. Cringe warning!"? Just put out a solo web post and save yourself the grief.
