  1. I never have to wiggle the steering wheel in my bmw i4, simply holding the top half of the steering wheel is enough. Doesn't really work with the bottom half of the steering wheel though.

  2. Sorry, but this review isn't great. You drove top of the lines cars for every brand except the BMW and Tesla. Then you gave the BMW a bad score for it. You couldn't stop by a dealership and borrow a BMW that has more features? I have a BMW IX. Lane changes work great, I can go touchless on the highway, and when I do need to be touching the steering wheel, i can leave a single finger lightly on the wheel and never have an issue. I see other people commenting the same thing so I know I'm not being biased.

  3. Why do i need a car that drives itself? If I'm sitting in the driver's seat I might as well drive since you've shown me that I can't go to sleep or even pay less attention. What a marketing mess.

  4. In regards to the Mercedes system that’s wasn’t DRIVE PILOT that’s only available in the California and Nevada markets and requires specific hardware what you was using was just regular adaptive cruise control

  5. The BMW steering wheel hard input requirement (need to wiggle hard) seems faulty in the test. I have the Drive Assist Pro on my 25 M4 which should have the same software as the 25 i4 shown (not sure about the 5 series) and just resting a finger on the wheel is enough. There are actually some sort of sensors under the leather which is why you can't get Drive Assist Pro and the alcantara steering wheel together.

  6. You are using old Tesla Software

I thought you are cutting edge Brownlee

    I guess not anymore lol

Use V13 and it’s no contest

    Blue cruise lol ….

  7. I have both a v12.5.4 HW3 tesla and a v13.2 HW4 with FSD. Its night and day different. V13.2 is mind boggling good. No to mention ir starts from park and then puts you in park at the end. Sometimes it doesnt park in the best spots, but sometimes it's exactly where it should park, its even backed into a driveway at a house in front of the garage door and parked. Its so close to being perfect. V12.5.4 is terrible, its constantly doing stupid stuff. That said, it still does way more than anyone else.

  8. If you do an update of this video in the next year please do your best to get a Tesla with the current hardware and FSD build. Plus please also add in Comma to the comparisons. Making this video long and comprehensive will actually be really helpful!

  9. Great video! Can you do a similar video for the less affluent? Something like “best value lane assist features”? I’d love to see how more affordable cars like Honda, Toyota, Subaru stack up.

  10. The latest BMW assistant plus with highway Assistant is actually excellent. If you use it with navigation, it will actually speed up and slow down when it exit is coming and you can change lanes by looking at the mirror when it suggests a faster lane is available or when it's time to exit. It also detects if a person in front of you is drifting into the lane and actually slows down or slightly moves the steering wheel to avoid any collision. It's not full self-driving but I think it's probably one of the best that most people could adopt

  11. Would love if you could review the self driving systems in XPeng, Li Auto, Nio, and the other companies that are surging ahead in other parts of the world. It’s super hard to get info in the US on these companies.
