  1. The man made a mistake we all do. He owned up to it and was honest and transparent. Shouldn’t have cut it out but let’s be honest… ANYONE with the subs he has would do the same damn thing. Comparing this to Mr Beast or Dr disrespect is just straight up brain rot activity.

  2. IDK man the way you talk about everything behind a "financial incentive" and that you're only doing this "to make money" might be a much more troubling sign of the times. Seems like every generation below mine just has this "get money" mentality, that nothing matters unless you're getting paid… That's just really really bleak

  3. The problem with most Americans is that when another very successful American who’s rich make a lot of money makes a mistake, it’s always the American people who want to bash them all because of a mistake that was made (please read my comment correctly, I’m not saying what he did wasn’t wrong) but usually someone who’s so big, haters can’t wait for he or she to make a mistake just so they could cancel someone or bash them, grow up.

  4. Comparing MKBHD to Dr Disrespect is not the own you think. The only ones who can ultimately hold someone to account is their own viewerbase, not the drama vultures. Would you really expect someone like Dr Disrespect to have a quality fanbase?

Making the comparison does nothing for MKBHD, because he should be held to a higher standard, since he is supposed to be of higher standard. He aspires to be more than him, so his followers expect him to be better than that.

  5. "He's done", if you see a car speeding IRL you shrug it off. Someone does it online and it's endless drama.
Crazy how shallow some people's lives are. Internet is crazy man.

  6. Driving nearly a hundred miles an hour in a school zone isn't "YouTube drama." Obviously there's not much you can do besides apologize and try to do better but for you to lecture everyone for feeding into the drama when you're literally posting a video of saying "He's done," … Who's exactly obsessed with YouTube drama then? You don't get to monetize drama videos while at the same time lecturing your audience for being obsessed. The idea that the minute someone apologizes the whole internet has to accept it immediately and never mention…

Like shouldn't YouTube maybe consider a suspension? If this was a channel with 20,000 people subbed driving 96 mph there's no way it would still be up right now.

Also his apology was kind of s***. He didn't even mention he was in a school zone or driving 96 He just conceded he was driving too fast. It's not like a ukulele bad but it's like a C- apology.

But seriously if it's such a terrible thing to be obsessed with this then stop covering it you hypocrite.

  7. Many people fail to even stop at stop signs. Most people don't slow down for these children warning signs unless it is within the hours of school. These signs do not apply when school is not currently in session. Who's to say this wasn't a weekend?

  8. Jokes aside, he properly apologized for it and promised to do better. Something most influencers would never do. So we should give him props.
