  1. Could they now make a Quest with more power, more battery and 4k lenses. I'd happily pay double for 4k lenses but can't be dropping a car down payment on Apple Vision Pro headset.

  2. Not interested in supporting anything FB or Meta. The only reason it's cheap is because it is subsiding costs with everyone's privacy and data. They also have killed off their game studios and have a bad rep for not supporting software/games beyond short term – hardly anyone mentions this in their reviews ever. There are plenty of alternatives out there making awesome advancements/innovations without costing your civil rights. I'll be waiting for Valves Index 2 Deckard, I've got a feeling it's going to change the VR industry entirely.

  3. It’s amazing that, given the size, internals, and computing power, people consider a VR headset, essentially a mobile computing device, expensive at $500, while a mobile phone at nearly $1,000 or more, or earbuds at the same price or even higher, is not.

  4. Bro, why you just don't address that pricing. You can easily say it was a mistake and you will learn from it. Don't be ignorant. We all make mistakes

  5. The one who hate meta was only westerner but they fail what is really the danger of meta they talk like meta was vurnerable to data theft but how many youtuber been hacked? Yes

  6. I wish they'd take some inspiration from Even Realities G1 glasses to make a lower priced Meta-Ray, but Meta is now officially the most exciting tech company in the market.

What is anyone else working on that's this interesting.

  7. Ideally it should've been the Quest 2 Plus and not the Quest 3S…. They released it like it was an iPhone XS Series but in reverse. So weird. Also, the move isn't the Quest 3S it's getting a used or marked down Quest 3 now and you might even find it with the free Batman game. Confusing for new adopters.

  8. Even with the Quest 3 priced at $500, VR was affordable (now it's dropped to $430). I don’t understand why people don’t complain about affordability when buying a Steam Deck for $550 or an iPhone for $800, but they do when it comes to a VR headset.
With the release of the Quest 3S offering such great value for its price, it has the potential to be a real game-changer in the market.
