High ram is for Gemini as it’s multimodal. Model loads in memory or ram and to generate results it need context like as much context as possible and for context as well we need ram.

This video is filled with manufactured criticisms. Calling out the Pixel specifically as not having any ground-breaking changes? Sure, you mean just like every other flagship design. Also that's not even true: Brighter screen, updated back design, more Ram, new chip, updating fingerprint sensor, etc. It's very in-line with other phones.
And then to say the naming convention is confusing? What? It's just like the iphone so at worst you should call every iphone naming scheme condusing.
Can you use the main cameras to take a selfie with the interface on the outside screen? That might be useful right?

The 9 series seems pointless. All google io had on focus was gemini and the ai crap that literally nobody wants or needs. Oh ai can book you a reminder? So does the google assistant and it wasn't branded ai was it? I also find it funny that in their website bundle offers it says you get a subscription for gemini extra services for a year…why? Why not google one or heck yt premium will be of more use

I wasn't a big fan of the previous design (it wasn't terrible, just not great). I do appreciate the flat screen and back in this new iteration, but I really wish they'd reduce the corner radius. Also, not a fan of the camera bump, I really hate that trend to be honest. If you need that extra thickness, just make the whole thing thicker and double its battery life.
3 months ago I got 16GB/512GB OnePlus 12 for 750USD and am damn happy. Really good cameras and battery life. Sure Pixels got better software processing for cameras, but that's about it.

You didn’t mention this year is the first time they have ever put a vapor cooling chamber in their phones. This is huge because the only problem I had with my 8 pro is it overheated all the time.
I guess slightly negative but good points still. I am coming from a 7pro and wanna upgrade after 2 years lol. Somehow the screen is better across the board but slightly lower res wise. Think i will just choose 1080p for better battery life lol
Pixel 9's AI features compared to Samsung or Apple are insane at a high level. It's worth ( the AI features in Apple and Samsung require a monthly subscription.🤣)
