  1. This is so much of a better review than Arun from Whose the boss. I was worried that all the big tech YouTubers will have been bought out for brand advertising and we'll be getting hyper positive reviews with no drawbacks. I mean Arun didn't even dare to mention that there's no charger in the box. But you still made a solid review of the phone. I use a Nothing Phone 2a so I will be interested in comparing the performance. Because my phone is also $250 just like this one.

  2. Glad to see no NFC. Budget phones don't need it, it's just pointless added cost. Are people allergic to credit/debit cards or something lmao

  3. Not having dual speakers even on a phone this cheap is crazy in 2024. I'd rather have that then the useless bokeh lens. I swear Carl said they weren't interested in adding those useless lenses just for numbers on a spec list. Also not having NFC kind of blows cause there are numerous uses for that outside of just payments too.

  4. Fun Fact: Indian users don't need NFC since digital payments in India happen our own UPI channel that works using QR codes which only need a camera. Smart Home and other use of NFC is not really a big thing in India, especially not for anyone who is buying a budget phone like this one.

  5. So much is packed into this $250 phone. Removable/customizable backs, accessories, good cameras, 5000 mAh battery, Nothing OS, 2000 nit brightness, etc. (: (:

  6. This cheap phones always miss the deal breakers. Why would I want a depth sensor instead of OIS, that makes ALL my photos better?? I guess its becouse a 1 lense phone is not sellable (but look at the new IPad). No NFC and Wireless charging is another big mistake. I dont need a slow underscreen finger print sensor give me a button one, it works better and is cheaper.

It feels like cheap phones handicap themselves on the most basic things.

  7. "Is it a gimmick? No"

Everyone else besides Marques that USES phone cases: Yeah… Just buy a case that does that…

  8. I think it's a gimmick. It's modular for a phone cover and feels like a concept Spigen or any other phone cover brand would come up with.

  9. I love all the americans in the comment section having their mind blown by the fact that nfc isn't very common in a lot of places (especially the ones this phone is marketed towards)
