I'd def love to see the Celica revived as a hybrid I was sad when the original Celica was discontinued in my early 20s after a 34 year production run but could understand some of the reasons why as the sedans like Corolla and Camry were bounds more popular in 05 the US version of the Celica only sold 3,113 units while the Corolla for example sold 150,000 units in the US in 2005 while the Camry in the same year sold 432,000 in the US. some other great nameplates were discontinued around that time Cadillac Deville/Seville or in the 2010s the Ford Panther Platform cars Crown Victoria Grand Marquis and Town Car their discontinuation dates were Jan 4th 2011 August 28th 2011 and Sept 15th 2011 respectively
