They a not really leaving YouTube ! Its just for the hype !!! Its like Chelsea, she's not really switching camera gear !!!!
Such great advice. It reminds me of the "7 Habits…" One of which was "stick to the knitting." Which is similar to "know your hearts." Continued Success!
This is how pretty much all jobs change in a carreer, in some ways.
Super interesting take. Thanks for sharing. Wouldn't have considered things this way.
It's because they are not paying anymore.
I’m going to look up octopus heart beat now.
I think one thing not mentioned is the relentless incentive structure of YouTube to produce at a pace not usually aligned with a healthy human pace.
15:33 "If you ever get to live the dream, be very deliberate about it"…..10/10 quote right here.
The reason quitting YouTube is so popular is because it’s a platform that treats any creator who doesn’t have special privileges like shit, and holds a hand above the head of anyone who makes them money. Adds are getting rediculous, premium is getting more expensive, there’s a war on add block. I could go on but the point is people are getting tired, and as well they should.
Thanks
Delegate to people who you trust. Yes!
Masteroogway isnt a content creator lol he pulls faces at videos and pretends hes quitting for traction
As a teacher, I can sympathise with this. In our profession it is also easy to bite off more than you can chew and burn out.
The fact is Marques still isn't married and has a family of his own, like those other YouTubers. Once he does that (if he does), this video will be history.
Bro subtly testing out the mic in his hand.
Thank you so much for the advice.
One of the things I love about Marques and his team is that it doesn’t seem like they post on a specific schedule. When they have something to share, they do. It really shows in the Waveform Podcast too. Random special episodes here and there that are aside from the regular Friday ones. Marques having a thought and pulling out his phone to just talk to us at times. I just feel the love this team puts into content.
I remember those days when i have slow internet even a 3g is costly. So that I once bought a 3g night pack which is cheap and downloaded 20-25 videos of you (via savefromnet) on my laptop and watched it repeatedly.
Content is more important than cash
Was this shoot on a phone?
You're Daft Punk reverence is on Point! I'm going to listen to the B-Sides of RAM today
If you want to turn a hobby into a job, be prepared to lose a hobby.
Love that Ukrainian flag setup in the background. Thank you for the support of Ukraine and Ukrainians
And a lot of you keep making this same video about other people quitting youtube. Get some original content my guy.
Just a question: how do you script a video like this. Just roughly or pretty much as you say it into the camera?
I‘m glad you posted this! Sick insights
