10 New Cars and Concepts Showcased in 2018 (New York Auto Show Highlights)




The New York Auto Show could be described as the short summary of the first quarter of the car production year that shows to the world a mixture of vehicles presented at various auto shows up until March plus it boasts some of the new releases of its own. In case you missed it, we wanted to show you the highlights from New York that impressed us the most and are definitely worth your attention.

In the past RS5 was exclusively offered in coupe and convertible body styles, but starting from summer 2018 the model line will be extended by the liftback Audi RS5 Sportback.

With this model Mercedes continues the midlife updates of its C class. However, unlike the C43, the new C63 doesn’t receive a powerboost; the AMG handcrafter 4.0L V8 biturbo, still produces 503 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque in its S modification.

The first series soft roader SUV from Maserati was introduced two years ago, and now it received a pass to the club of performance super crossovers in the form of Levante Trofeo.

The premium division of Hyundai, Genesis has presented their first all-electric luxury sports car concept at the New York Auto show in 2018. The Essentia received electric motors for each wheel that can accelerate it to 60 in 3 seconds.

2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback is the first model in the 12th generation of the legendary vehicle. It has a new engine, two transmission options, and a redesigned look and rides on a new platform.

Cadillac welcomed the new performance variant into the CT6 family – V-Sport. Under the hood of this hot executive sedan is an all-new 4.2 Liter V8 engine with 550 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

  1. The 2018 New York International Auto Show has given me so many cars to talk about that I wasn't able to fit all of them in one episode.
