  1. Honestly this watch is sort of the return of the Pebble Watch! Cheap and simple smart watch that does everything you need at a fraction of the price and with a much better battery life! As someone who sold their Apple watch for an analog watch, this would cover all the fitness features I liked on the Apple Watch at a much more appealing price point.

  2. 3:50 does the app not have a persistent notification that keeps it open in the background at all times? my only significant experience with smartwatch-like tech is my trusty xiaomi smart band 6, and both of its official apps, zepp life (previously mi fit) and mi fitness (not to be confused with mi fit/zepp life, in short the company that used to make the bands split off from xiaomi), have a persistent "connected" notification

  3. As a guy who is mostly satisfied with Gen 1 Apple Watch, I’m actually considering this. 🤣 I only use the time and notifications (if the Apple Watch actually sends them 🙄).

  4. I've been using the Watch for nearly 2 months now. It's basic, but tracks stuff well. However, here are a few glaring drawbacks. The sleep tracker doesn't work while you're traveling (I realized while on an overnight bus journey). The alarm's snooze UI is really dumb and confusing. You can't toggle between 12/24 hour viewing modes in a watch-face (it comes pre-set). The weather app stops working if it hasn't connected to your phone in a while. And that silicone strap is annoying AF to wear and take-off. However, if you can look past that stuff, it's a great budget wearable to spend hardly any money on.

  5. There is something that MKBHD never really talks about. Which is really important when it comes to Nothing products and therefore CMF is Customer Support/Satisfaction you can go for those generic cheap $30 smart watches, good luck on getting actual customer support

  6. You could try mi band 8, its cheaper and has a nicer display (AMOLED, 60hz) and it runs and feels a lot smoother plus the battery is pretty good, 1 to 2 weeks it depends on how much you use it.

  7. As people think – it's cheap and certainly not good, this one costs 1000 dollars, it has to be perfect. And in the end, I'd rather splurge on this $1000 than this $69 one.

  8. I find it confusing why you covered this? You don’t normally cover garbage tech like this? Was it a paid promotion?
