That Tello and the other are the only brushed motors I've seen in a while. What do the save manufacturers, a buck fitty?
Also, between an "optical flow" usually a super cheap imaging device that's stretch to call "Camera" or a pair of infrared time of flight, the former will stabilize hover, the latter adds ground sensing, stabile hover & landing safely, I'll take the Infrared evdry time. This was DJI Mini 2's magic sauce amazing those who finally gave in after a half dozen Amazon specials. Ask me how I know!
specta mini sale is over. It's about $300 now
Only thing that stopped me from buying the specta is the lack of spare batteries. I emailed specta directly and each time they say ‘next week’ …. But next week never comes
Great video! I have a DJI Mini 2. It's too light in any wind. I need to fly around a nearby lake (up to 1/2 mile distant). Wondering what would be a low-cost upgrade to something more predictable in wind? Doesn't have to be "new". Used but stable would be an upgrade. Thoughts?
