Stop with the crap background music jeez
I wish they’d just lose all the crappy little sensors and use that space for just a good optical 24-70 and then if they want to play with some digital zoom let it go from 70-120 and call it a day. The more they try to push long digital zooms on small sensors I want to cry because its useless
If so, I’m buying the cine version out right at the launch day, and my hand will not shake a bit.
28mm as a main, 70mm as a 2.5X and 168mm as a 6X makes more sense if we line those numbers up the mavic 3 pro as they are basically the same except for the main lens.
This also means less distortion at 28mm even with an F2 aperture right? , it also means they can sell an ultra wide angle at say 17-18mm which would be far superior quality then the 15.5mm UW lens from the mavic 3 pro?
You know more about cameras and lenses then me, but my experience said that the ultra wide lens add on was poor on basically any DJI drone before, but also that at 23-24mm the image was very soft around the edges! was that due to the aperture or the focal length? at what stage is diffraction the issue?
First of all, thx to you for keeping us all updated and hyped for like 3 months, but my question is, does anyone know the release date?
15:10 listening to all the technical stuff, my brain was speaking french, Joey Tribiani version
Will the rctrack be released with the mavic 4?
dlog-m is for 10bit 4:2:0, dlog is for 4:2:2
I don't know where to find shorts. Who's the dummy now?
i took an incredible sunset image with that 12mp chip on the m3 cine. stitched 9 photos together producing one of the best photos i ever took. catch. lots of light available. and correct nd filter. i hope m4 has a mechanical shutter on the main camera. nice video. new sub.
I like it when you put all these details in. Please keep doing that. It adds a lot more depth to these videos and gives us more information. Thank you for the video
Thanks much
Wait for cine version I reckon
4:4:4:4XQ 12bit 2tb ssd. Ok u’ve just taken an already expensive drone n made it more expensive lol. But fight do that i’d love to see how the footage comes out.
You can have 4:2:2 not just in ProRes. Like in Lumix cameras.
What about the Mini 5 Pro?
The very big problem of the Mavic4: it is over 900 gramms!
Great video again! The ability to flip to real vertical will be the biggest 90% reason for me to upgrade to the 4 from the Mavic 3 Pro. Excited!
Hi Joseph, I discovered your channel about a week ago and I'm soooo glad about it! Immediately subscribed
Do you have any rumors on prices? I have a Mini 3 Pro and I'm on the fence of getting the Mavic 3 Classic as I can find it new for about USD 1.1K (drone alone) here in Switzerland, and I'd like to seriously up my game in aerial photography specifically. I was thinking about waiting for the Mavic 4 (regular, Classic or Pro), but I'm reading here and there that the base price would start at USD 2800…. Did you hear the same?
Some more good information
Tele lenses, not zoom lenses.
i have a documentary shoot coming up early april and i hope the mavic 4 pro gets released before that
"export it to Instagram, where it will be absolutely destroyed." Lol
im still paying off my mavic 3 classic
Man! Don't apologize! We love the details (at least I do), awesome content, thanks
What about open gate on the 4:3 sensor…
Pity DJI do not make a one lens zoom instead.. i e 24-70mm could be enough and perfect. Reason.. maybe DJI do not want to cannibalize on there expensive pro-drones? Could have been a simplier, compact and even lighter drone.
Man, I looooove when videos have chapters…
