I come from Germany and here we are allowed to drive high speeds and I can tell you one thing, 96mph or almost 160 km/h is insanely fast for any road or surface, doesn't matter if it's a golf or Lamborghini, that's just reckless. Imagine a kid actually crossing the street there, he couldn't react at all, let alone the breaks on the car, which won't stop in 5 meters. It's mind boggling to me, you are driving those speeds in such a crowded area with little to no visability…. in germany something like this would get you off your licence for literally years.
