13. I disagree that MKBHD didn’t do anything wrong. MKBHD has complained about privacy issues in the past, and this app he released is absolutely wrong-headed with regard to privacy.

    This is an app that lets you download wallpapers. Why does it need your location and identifying information? Why are they selling that information to data brokers?

    Panels is a massive data grab on the part of advertisers and data brokers, and MKBHD is encouraging people to give those untrustworthy players their personal data.

    I think MKBHD has indeed suffered a lapse in judgement here, and has done something which he should apologize for.

28. I would NEVER EVER pay $50 a year for any wallpaper app! You can literally download all those wallpapers on Panels for free. Who was the target audience here? No wonder it flopped!

33. I have always use Zedge, all in one, really good, simple and straight to the point. It has Ads of course, but at least gives you around 4-5 chances until you get an ad

38. My favorite wallpaper app is Zedge. Had it for years now. Never deleting. All got my ringtones and notification sounds from Zedge as well. That panels is pure waste right now lol

39. I don't like either app. there are tons of good wallpaper apps. I like backdrops. It I can go to Google and it has everything I need.
