  1. I've used Walloop for years, which provides animated phone wallpapers. The app is free. Many of its wallpapers are free. Those that aren't are cheap in-app purchases. MKHD's app doesn't compete.

  2. dude literally talks the most popular topics under the umbreella of "tEcH" (do not confuse with actual technology) and covers lack of scrutiny and actual expertise with expensive editing. What is surprising phonies like him get so many followers

  3. MKBHD team:"This might not be a good idea Bro?"
MKBHD:"Nahhh everyone is focused on MrBeast being a lying, fraud with Transgender Pedofile friends.. noone will even notice this is a piece of shit!"

  4. Lol the problem is with people who think some YouTubers are saints while some are devils, without having met them once. People are people and people are greedy and so on…. Thats just how it is, no point in complaining, dont buy it if you dont like the price

  5. I have backdrops pro version and for what i paid for it, its definitely worth it. New wallpapers and being added every now and then and it has loads of variety. But mkbhd screwed up on execution part. I understand that there are costs to cover like google/apple takes a cut apart from the creators themselves but subscription based for a wallpaper app was not the way to go. I mean i wouldn't mind paying if it was a one off thing.

  6. I used a script from GitHub to download all the wallpapers for free, and most of them look so mid to say the least. So even if you ignore all the red flags, you still end up with lame wallpapers.

  7. 1. Samsung gives you loads of wallpaper for free.
    2. Windows provides wallpapers regularly and they are actually from actual creators and not AI generated.
    3. Anyone can get loads of free wallpaper from Pinterest and set your phone to change regularly.
    4. There are even apps that allow you download high quality images and have several categories from cartoon characters and anime, to nature and animals.

Honestly, MKBHD messed this up big time. It's wild.

  8. The guy is already a multimillionaire. Why burn himself like that by launching a product at such an incomplete stage that goes against his own philosophy?
