  1. Guys makers are only making EV to abide by the government regulations. Itā€™s not to ā€œsellā€ thatā€™s why dealerships have to discount EV 1/2 price šŸ˜‚

  2. Both Lexus and Toyota are obviously tanking their EV's on purpose…..even the names are hot garbage. Its painfully obvious that Toyota wants to push its hybrid agenda (and patents) at the expense of even TRYING in the EV space.

  3. This is for someone with enough money that they don't need to care about price, who charges at home and never ventures far from the metro area, and who wants an electric Lexus for the build quality and smooth quiet Lexus experience. Simple as that. I imagine they won't sell many but those who do buy them (and accept the range limitation) will be very happy indeed..

  4. I heard Japan is bigger on a potential hydrogen fuel cell future. Maybe you could review the Toyota Mirai if you ever make it to California for long enough.
(My nearest "gas" station has a hydrogen pump, but I don't think that's happening outside of The Bay and LA yet.)

  5. The dude didn't even drive the car! Cmon, MKBHD!!! Do better next time. Drive the car, get to know feel, suspension, power, handling, etc. etc. Can't you recommend the car because the speedometer is low res? Buddy, this is a car, not an iPhone! And I know the range is less but dude atleast drive the car, take it on a highway or something.

  6. Just remember Toyota, Subaru, and Lexus only made these vehicles to be in compliance with California regulations for selling cars in California. Every car manufacturer that sells in California has to have at least one EV
