The notion that all android manufacturer products should be able to talk to all android os providers is an interesting one simply for the fact that android as much as we like to say is competing with apple, these manufacturers are also competing with each other and so to have a feature and a device as a differentiator makes a lot of sense actually especially when it isn’t core features because there is a wealth of choice in devices and manufacturers to go to, hell I’m sure Xiaomi is releasing one of these in 3 days.
In the matter of “well when apple does it” I don’t really mind that apple creates such huge differentiators if the value is good, it’s good and you can’t refute. that it’s more the conversation of less choice for the user which one can argue leads to much less decision fatigue but then less decision fatigue would mean less reviewers I guess and we don’t want that

I wear 4 rings (because I enjoy wearing them) and had no interest in buying this thing. So…. Kinda says a lot.
Your finger ring size could easily have changed depending on when you measured: it would be larger if you took it during a hot day, or after a workout or if you were very hydrated, and by almost a full size. Opposite if you are cold, or sleeping or dehydrated.

Uhhh, why is Marques just utter TRASH lately? I feel like the "ring doesn't work with other androids" has been well disproved. Hmmm, you'd think if there was someone who COULD provide the truth to that it would be someone who has reviewed all the other phones. But no, his only contribution to this question was "Samsung says…." so he didn't even bother to test it before making this video? That seems like a pretty big fail for a reviewer.
Also, still trying to figure out why you can't use the ring for ultimate frisbee or golf. That just seems like excuses. Blaming the ring for a dropped frisbee & stuff.
