I allays new those Apples were Artificial… I feel the need for an AI to move icons on home screen automatically so that every time you see your home screen you will take the longest time finding the app you want!! 😛 Nah, I wish there was an AI plugin for OBS to dunamically move a PiP camera image that might cover part of a desktop presentation and would choose the best possible location without covering any important part of presentation.

Apple Intelligence is just OpenAI with an Apple private server–which is a huge risk to user privacy.
Coupled with their fight against reparability, overpricing, and a seeming lack of any meaningful innovation; I'll be taking a hard pass on Apple for the foreseeable future.

Apple Intelligence is just adding another layer of complexity on top of an overly complex system. And no one is talking about the accuracy of this system. Does one really want to trust that this technology is really going to know what you want, how you think, all of it and make the right or accurate decisions for you? This is just another marketing play to get everyone to buy new hardware at inflated prices to keep Apple execs making more money.
So much for that full on redesign that was rumored…..just another half baked tacked on shit, that poor dated OS is getting beat down worse than a dead horse at this point. They need to rebuild all there OS's from the ground up and also make dogshit iPad useful and not be an giant overprice iPod Touch XL. Are we also not gonna talk about how the 15 Pro and up and M1 SoC's and above are getting the on device AI stuff only? That they are locking out older iPhone users to try and force you to upgrade over gimmick AI fancy stuff out of desperation and con you out of money?
The M1 can do 11 TOPS of NPU performance…….the A14 SoC can also do 11 TOPS as well…..A15, over 15 TOPS and the A16 can do 17 TOPS….so the M1 is getting it but locking others out on older iPhones than can perform on par or over an M1's NPU performance…..I'm not that fucking stupid Apple. If you're smart, don't fall for it. It's a market gimmick and 2 years from now when they actually figure out what it will actually be useful for then you are better off upgrading hardware then and not only that, Apple is so far behind anyways that it'll be 2 years when they actually catch up and make it useful for like 2 or 3 things and not for this AI trend chasing and cram and rush the most useless stuff into the OS thing that's happing across the board with every company right now.
Calculator app is just another way for students to cheat. Schools and colleges are just gonna ban iPads now.
