It would be awesome if they implemented more MacOS stuff but then the iPad would start to compete with potential macbook customers so I guess they wont do that from a business perspective.
I think they most likely would lean more into the creative aspects of the iPad; apps for design, for animation, garageband updates, more creative note taking (for business meetings), dynamic island, apple vision implementation, better split screen implementation while using it together with a macbook. These are all speculations but stuff that would attract new customers or that make it feel like you need an iPad for people that are already in the eco-system

Current iPad Pro Magic Keyboard does have usb-c but the thing takes forever to charge that way and as I remember it takes forever and is either charge only or the connector doesn’t support data transfer

I think about that interview a lot. How Marques really had Craig and, hell, the whole Apple company, in an extremely vulnerable PR position with that question. I feel like we all know the answers to that question and Craig’s hesitation kinda confirmed it but not entirely. Barely scraped by under the radar.
