  1. You're gonna be so dissappointed when you put it on on an Airplane…
Tried it with my Quest 3.. and well.. let's just say that when the plane moves, it thinks you are moving.. even with tracking turned off, because most of the outside in tracking is done with gyroscope. I'd be surprised if VisionPro is very different.

  2. I can’t wait for Apple to lunch the fourth version of this and remove, the band, the charger, the battery, the seals and the cover from the box and obviously increase the price for $3999 the base unit

  3. There are some awesome design decisions there. Looks really nice too. But $3.5k is just too much . $1.5k was balked at with the Meta Quest Pro, this is a purely enthusiast device and while I'm sure name alone will keep it alive in some form, I cannot imagine this will be more than a flash in the pan. Still, as a VR-lover I'm hoping it does well, the genre needs as much love as it can get.

  4. People have to remember this is still a Gen 1 product. Over time this will get smaller and smaller. Think of every techs first model; the iPhone, Macintosh, iPad etc. all are much bulkier.

  5. the cable on the battery is fixed and cannot be removed. Of course Apple would do that. If the cable breaks, you are forced to buy a new battery. USB c would have been much better

  6. I have to say I'm blown away by how simplistic it is. What I mean by this is, how easy it is to change and adjust things. The lenses, the head frame the foam bands etc. You don't have to fiddle around to clip things in and struggle, break things even.. The simple use of magnets, and bang it aligns and is attached. The thought process and engineering behind this, to me, is amazing. How can we make this simple and easy to use? (Interesting to see that probably for the first time they have an instruction manual in the box!!) I'm interested to see how this, like the iPhone did, will develop over time. Great to see the unboxing, looking forward to the next videos.

  7. $3,500. Nah. Thats a down payment on a used car. Or enough to buy a fairly decent gaming PC. Far too much for a VR system that will work exclusively on Apple products.

  8. Instead of just doing a universal connection apple had to come up with their own 'because'. I get it 'it's apple' it's what they do – but every time they decided to do non-standard they're locking large chunks of the world out.

  9. I might be nitpicking but Apple not including the zeiss lenses as complementary is kinda bullshit, not very inclusive considering the overall cost of this thing
