  1. I have a query about the 13 inch Air that I hope someone can help with – I'm looking to get a MacBook and in the next month or so I'll be commuting on a train for 2 hours a day for work (1 hour getting there and 1 hour back). Is the 13 inch Air easy enough to use on my lap on a train? No need for a fancy screen as it is mainly just for writing. I'm considering the MacBook Pro 13 inch as well, the extra power would be nice, but not sure if the extra weight will be an issue.

  2. my air is fuckin awesome. i don't use mine for business or anything. just facebookin web browsing email and youtube. i can get days out of mine before i have to charge it.

  3. Got a few bits wrong here, 12 hours battery life and while its not possible to upgrade the RAM after you buy, you can upgrade the SSD and it works out a lot cheaper to do it yourself

  4. 1. Cut the big thick bezel from the screen
    2. Touchscreen
    3. 1440p or 1600p
    4. 14 hours of usage
    5. 2.5 pounds
    6. Thinner
    7. Office 2013 bundled in
    8. Updated os x
    9. Broadwell CPU
    10. $999

Now that would be a deal

  5. It's definitely beautiful. I'd be tempted to buy it but my lust for shiny object is outweighed by my dislike for all that Apple stands for (controlling, walled-in, overpricing, extremely proprietary, anti-competitive, patent trolling, frivolous legal endeavours, etc) .They aren't the only company but they are among the worst offenders. I honestly can't give my hard earned money to them in good conscience (Not saying that you shouldn't though) . Pity though, it would have made a great host for Fedora 20.
