1. This is wrong comparison!! Use proper cinematic settings with telephoto lens to your mobile then see. And I'm using Samsung galaxy for my feature film shoot with Open camera, Cinema FV-5 and 4K Camera pro apps. With high bit rate, we get very smooth video footages like Red and ARRI alexa!!

6. Not saying the iPhone is better or even as good as red but the iPhone was setup to fail in this video. Filmic Pro on iPhone can produce far better video.

8. Missing the point to grade the red to match the iPhone, and I'm quite convinced that by allowing a talented colour artist to do "more iPhone punch than iPhone" the test would have been interesting.

15. could be missing something here, but you were showing the guy the comparison on some type of mac book… even the highest speced mac book pro doesn't have a 4k display, so how could his analysis be even close to fair?
