  1. This car will be a hit , Will Rivian be around much longer ? and also build quality is suspect on them and teslas for the most part . This is where I think traditional manufacturers well be better in the EV space . 130k so what it’s in line with current Escalade pricing . I like the looks of the car and GM has been on 🔥in EV manufacturing. I am sure the EV GMC Denali and Chevy Tahoe are following within the next 12 to 18 months at lower price points

  2. Honestly surprised who haven’t shown much criticism on these new cars ever since you’ve tied yourself to this industry. It’s whole lot of grange wrapped in a nice box and you fail to call out real world problems to highlight screens and lights. It’s shallow and I hope before for you.

  3. At this rate, I'm happy I bought my 2022 Maverick when I did cos a new vehicle nowadays is gonna cost a mortgage.

This is only a telltale sign that we need more rail infrastructure in our urban landscapes

  4. Get back to me when they are up to 900 miles…. or 500-600, with less than 10 minute charging (to 90%). Its already a PITA to have to fill up with every day (my car only has a 500 mile range) but at least I can fill it almost anywhere, in a few minutes, and be back on the road. EV's are just really not suitable for hard-core drivers. Looks great though.

  5. Followed by a 10 hour recharge. Certainly won't be buying an electric. But Toyota has a great hydrogen car that you can refill in minutes and unlike electric, it's true zero emissions.

  6. electric cars are not luxurious rides. they are bouncy, wobbly and dizzying to ride in as a passenger . this with the huge battery will only make that worse.

  7. Are these super heavy cars going to be good for our pot-holed city streets? I think weight-determined road tax has to be a thing before long

  8. I keep saying to myself … in the next ten years what could they possibly do to top this, and sure enough I'm always pleased every 10 years lol.. i mean its crazy to think someone took years to build atomic bombs in the mid-1900s , and in 2023 we build an all electric car within a year that drives by itself . how far we've come..

  9. I’m still not sure how I feel about this

On one hand, the Escalade has always been one of my dream cars (Yes I know it’s a stupid impractical boat,Every logical part of my brain knows it’s not a good choice, but I still want it), and electric was always going to be good for this kind of car, I can imagine it’ll even be better to ride in than before , definitely one hell of a taxi experience

That being said, personally, I’m not a fan of the looks, the way the back slopes remind me of Range Rovers, or worse the culinnan, I prefer the full unaerodynamic box look, but I understand that’s subjective

The part that really irks me is the screens, I get that it’s an EV, but so many damn screens, and I probably don’t have to explain to y’all what the problem with those is. I get it’s a trend in the whole industry, but I just want buttons, Is that so hard to ask?

  10. I’ve noticing that he doesn’t talk about cars for the middle class or lesser than, Just the top premium cars that people will have to take out a big loan to afford electric or non-electric.I see it Saying I Talk about some affordable cars.. But Majority being expensive cars.. Less expensive cars don’t live up to the most expensive cars but yet we’re supposed to be comfortable with buying those.
Just Seeing A Bigger Picture, Some People want the better version, but can’t afford it and those cars are very expensive…

  11. I must've willed this into existence cause a few months ago I said "Only way im buying an electric vehicle is if its a Tahoe/Suburban, Yukon or Yukon XL, or an Escalade & low & behold my favorite choice became a reality. Now if only i can will myself winning a billion dollars so life can stop killing me harshly, id be happy.

  12. Is the entire planet turning into a repeat of Easter island? The Lincoln giant head will do it! The Lincoln giant head will save us. It’s a last ditch effort but if we all scrap our current car and buy a 15,000 pound Lincoln giant head, our troubles will be solved!
