On the inside screen I've split screened vampire survivors with super auto pets. Pretty freaking SICK to play 2 games at the same time, and it worked very well without any lag
If you're only using the inside screen 10-15 percent of the time, is it really worth the entry fee vs. a regular slab phone?
Instagram has a fold optimized version, but instead of being available to any foldable, it's only available to Samsung's foldables
Discord switches terribly between the screens, but as a non mobile-gamer I've also gotten sucked into Tarkov Mobile (Arena Breakout) and that game works so well on fold that it convinced me not to return the device after my first screen died.
That casual turn towards the audience at the beginning lol
I love how many people I have seen and know who have folding phones and still use them like a regular phone.
So which one you prefer overall?
Like, I get it, Marques is extremely careful…. But the fact that he never uses a case makes we wanna pull my hair out. Obviously you don't have to use a case, but he goes out of his way to go for aesthetics instead of protection.
Marques using Pixel Fold and wearing Watch Ultra
What are the best pixel fold car mounts?
We NEED a Pold 2……!! We NEED it… Tensor G3, stronger durability to beat Zach, less heat for the device, and better inner screen improvements…
Alto is also a good game for the inside screen
I wish there's a model with the oppo crease and the Google OS and Huawei camera.
If 90% of the time you're using the outside screen, I don't see the value of spending $800 more for that 10%. I used the inside screen on the Fold about 30-40% of the time, since by design, the front screen gives you more incentive to open it which is kind of the point
You know what really bugs me app wise on the Fold? Microsoft, who optimized their apps for the Surface Duo 2, has apparently not moved those over to working well on the Fold -_- I was really excited to try to use OneNote on the Fold because it was great on the Duo, but its absolutely garbage on the Fold's big screen
It's genuinely amusing how these phellaz love the outside 5.8 inch screen and apparently it's good enough for 90% of cases… this was the default screen size/factor for phones up until 2015ish. Then we got the useless tall/narrow form factor. Hopefully this will bring back what we lost 8 years ago, same as how we're getting back the 16/10 aspect ratios after 10 years of being told that 16/9 is better because that's what movies use nonsense.
I LOVE my Pixel Fold, more than 7 users got their hands on it! Even with the early adoption glitches, it's my favorite phone to date!!
I hate the lack of customization and the screen dimming when the phone gets hot which is very frequent.
Use the inside screen for gaming on pixel fold? Yeah right. Lag fest dogsh!T processor
No sd card slot, no stylus. 1800. No thanks. Less features more money. "Premium"
buying a foldable phone with a mediocre outside screen(compared to other high end non foldable phones) is kind of laughable.
Wait. No one told the one guy that you don't have to have a split keyboard on the inside screen? Right in the center you can press a keyboard option that gives you a full keyboard.
Anyone hearing that they sound muffled when talking to people through speakerphone
I genuinely love everything about the phone… Except for the camera. Going from the 7 pro, it feels like a large step backwards.
I actually love my Z Fold 4….its not perfect but what Samsung did is an incredible software optimization for large screen, escpecially the dock for multitasking. I wish it had a Pixel color profile for camera, cause I had a Pixel 6A for testing and even though photo quality is better on Fold, the colors were just insanely good on Pixel 6A
Just sent my Pixel Fold back due to the screen cracking.
Apple vs Windows laptops.. that was setup on purpose wasn’t it?
For my fold on the inside screen I use emulators to play DS Games, call of duty,Mario kart,T3, Final fantasy series and flash party. With certain applications you can change the orientation such as with Mario kart and you will get a full screen resolution. Same thing with the keyboard you can change it to be traditional versus split on both screens
Anyone saying "if you're gonna use the outside screen more just get a regular phone," 9 times outta 10… Doesn't own a foldable and will never understand. Day to day quick task are not fun to do on a skinny screen. Even texting can be challenging. Watching a YouTube video on this skinny screen is horrendous. Coming from a Z fold 3 user. You open the phone to consume media and other entertainment. You're not gonna watch your favorite movie on 28 inch screen by choice, I'd assume most would choose the 65 inch television screen.
So if you only open it 10% of the time, just use a pixel 7? I've got a z fold 5 and so far I'd say I use the outside 10% of the time. Samsung fold android is so good
Still loving my Fold. Def not perfect but to me it's damn good.
I hate the haptics. Specifically notifications. I miss a bunch
The fact that everybodys favorite thing about the phone is using it as a normal phone is why i just cannot get behind foldables yet.
To me a folding phone is nothing more than a gimmick and if people are only using the phone unfolded 10% of the time reinforces that belief
4:00 as a biased Surface Duo user, being able to access two app at the same time is awfully valuable.
Yeah I wouldn't buy a phone that expensive and not use the inside screen much. I'd get the phone for the fold aspect of it
I will say Instagram did recently update to support foldables much better experience
