Only half of the Tesla infrastructure will be available to the other brands.
Being the “gas stations” is definitely dope, but robotaxis are gonna be insane too
Update, word is truck is rolling down the line in Austin now.
Tesla needs to mandate that everyone has the charging port in the same location
Certain CCS chargers are higher voltage = faster charging. Only downside to Teslas is they are 250Kwh when some CCS (Electrify America) are 350 KWh. 2:57
Europe cannot use NACS, our 240v system is geared around 3 phase AC power, hence we use CCS2. Tesla did bring out a CCS2 that used the same pins for DC and AC, i believe it's limit is around 250kw charging… it is a neater plug but im pretty sure the power limit is too low. i cannot imagine it being possible to redesign NACS to support a 3 phase connection
Roadsters real! And is coming, there will be a whole lot more than twenty cyber trucks by the end of 3rd quarter. Also full self driving is a software that's still in Betta and is improving daily. Tesla's releasing its Dojo this month into the mix! Tesla Dojo Baby! Is coming to woop some a__! Good luck with every other OEM and Software Company 😂
I'm siding with Marques, the cybertruck is coming this year
Tesla is making more super chargers than other oems can even make their electric cars😂
This is yet again the US taking too long to regulate a standard because of Tesla lobby and now they have to swallow a proprietary connector as part of the standard, while the rest of the world will go for the CSS 2 and its future revisions will make it even better and backwards compatible. Tesla will just do whatever is best for them regarding the NACS port and screw over the other manufacturers, such as using shorter (thus lighter) wires that will not easily reach the charging port of other cars.
Either way, this will only be another chapter in the US vs the world standards that we’ll have to deal with.
I wonder if the data going to be valuable to tesla.
Depends on what you call "getting" if you mean delivery to typical people – NO we aren't "getting" cyber truck soon.. who do you think are on the front of the buyer list? Tesla employees and insiders who knew about it being put up for reservations. So how long to get to real buyres hands? A year from now in limited numbers? The 4680 cell continues to be plauged by high rejection rates contributing to the price hike from $40k to $70k. likely less than 5000 units a month for at least a year. That means you'd see about 50,000 made in 2024, probably under 10,000 in 2023. These will all go to insiders who won't really use these trucks in the public very much like the Semi. It's abilities clouded in secrecy mostly because it wont' be up to the hype.
Marques to Elon: Bitch where's my CyberTruck?
Tesla builds there own batteries and will undercut the Chevy and Ford trucks price by at least 10 grand. Also I think the cyber truck will weigh less requiring a smaller battery saving money and causing the vehicle to be more efficient. Most libtards are mad Elon owns Twitter and favors free speech so they talk bad about his cars which are much better than competitors EV's.
cybertruck will come out this year.
roadster isnt out because it would destroy new croatian co.
the truck is coming out this year it's just construction work that's why it's taking a while
First flop by Tesla is the cybertruck
Good for Tesla but they still make sh*tty cars. F 150 lightning over the model x all day.
Marques – love your stuff but I think you’re missing a key detail. Tesla benefited from billions in govt funding from Obama – built out a supercharging infrastructure and made their chargers proprietary. No idea how more aren’t talking about this important fact
Kimpower : s series ev charger need to have ccs and nacs chargers all over North America
Lol who is making a better car than Tesla….😂
I don’t care how much you think the electric cars are cool they are not the future
The base lightning starts at $59k, I imagine that the Cybertruck will be around the same. I assume that it will cost from $55K-$90K
Could you please elaborate on how car manufacturers other than Tesla are excelling in producing superior vehicles?
Ya, Cybertruck is imminent. You've got some real doubters on the show! Verging on conspiracy theories here. You know nothing about Elon if you think he's holding back sales for some kind of marketing stunt. facepalm :p
Cybertruck isnt just on the roads, theyre in NZ doing winter testing. Thats pretty much right near the end before production begins. It's really whether its out by the end of summer (aka late Sept) or not in my mind.
So here is my concern (don tinfoil hat) is there a guarantee of minimum charging. What happens if Tesla decides to renege ( or wants to promote their product) and hinder the charging of non Teslas?
Would this be a good time to invest in Tesla stock?
I see one of the hosts is using the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i, just curious as to why this was not covered or reviewed since its release. All the other tech youtubers have and I had wanted to see this channels take or at least MKBHD take which I value. I ended up purchasing this amazing device but it would be appreciated if they covered this.
no we aren't. they really dont want to actually launch the cybertruck because when people get their hands on it they will see how much it sucks. it's a three ton golf cart. it won't be able to tow anything. it won't be able to go off road. it won't be able to stop at speed without the brakes overheating. the range will be terrible.
沒有提到只有iPad pro 有faceID,我也是覺得air的性能對我來說就夠了,但是我真的比較想要用faceID
Enjoyed the bloopers at the end. Very fun
The argument that Tesla charger are too crowded and will become more crowded is just not the case. It's true that a few superchargers in a few areas have more demand than stalls, but Tesla has 1700 chargers in the US, they are opening only 1200, so 500 are Tesla only and those are ones with too much demand. Also, about 2/3 of all EVs in the US are Tesla's, and most of the non-Tesla's are leafs or early bolts, that won't be getting free adapters (no Chademo adapter exists) Many EVs in the US like old Ford Transit Vans, don't even have DC fast charging.
Everyone else in the world uses CCS2
All our tesla and their supercharger stations are on CCS2
it would seem logical that a dominant standard will win given the network
More pre-orders is the last thing Tesla needs or wants. They are definitely not doing cybertruck testing for that reason.
Why are they not installing NACS ports ASAP on their cars? If I was in the market for a EV that wasn’t a Tesla I’d be waiting a few years till they had NACS. This must be going to hurt short term sales for ford etc.
every time he mentions dominos i just cant stop thinking about pizza.
They are not going to start with a Tri motor, They will start with a quad motor, which would allow them to make it whatever price they want since it was not an option before. Going to be $80k+ and will make 1,000 this year but only for employees
Here's a hot take; Tesla as a vehicle company will be dead in 10 years. Maybe there will still be Tesla branded chargers.
I will BET my life and all my money that AFTER 2030, the price will go down like what they did to TESLA Y.
I know, because I work in Tesla (Texas Gigafactory), period.
Haha…nah son he played us and is a fn genius even after breaking the window of the concept car during the demo people still put money down for a deposit. Stock price went up became a bitcoin whale then bought doge coin made more money bought twitter and probably buying more btc just waiting on the halvening. Captip…Well played Elon 😂
These dudes literally have no idea what they are taking about. Marques you know it’s coming out and they will work down the price. I bought my model 3 for $36k, brand new. Stop letting your cohosts run all over you lol
4:04 Almost had a heart attack. I thought my screen was broken.
Marques is the only one who knows what Tesla would likely do; the rest is clueless.
I really appreciate that Marques makes a statement, the others give there takes … and he will actually adjust and/or support their arguments. Wild to hear new information or takes and actually adjust your opinions.
