for something what's supposed to be next gen the graphics look crap
They gave it a 7
great review
A 9, really? 😂
The aspects that "didn't age well" aren't in the game anymore. Go back and play the even the remaster with improved QOL features and controls and that is apparent. The difficulty in this is just as much of a breath of fresh air that dark souls was and we can use more shooters/immersive sims like it. Nightdive also did what they set out to do and that was remake the game, not do a retelling like so many other games have people confused for what a remake is.
Time to support and reward games that are thoughtful/ caring to the lore with my wallet. Unlike other modern franchises
Make this available on Mac pls
Best games nowadays are remakes 😕
They should remake the second one
It's not available on playstation neither on xbox.
We don't have a release date yet.
The audio in this review is garb.
"Dinner and a Shodan" actually got a chuckle out of me.
They gave it a 6
Whats this? Bioshock in space?
Ninja theory video games are cool 🎮
Too outdated
These are updated graphics? They look really really aged
Is it ever coming to consoles??
Great but still waiting for system shock 3
Marketing for this game has been absent.
Warren Spector would be proud, especially when his game is still on-hold about his third game System Shock 3.
Need this on Game Pass 🙏
It would be nice to see remasters of Thief and its sequel.
An AI in line with the zeitgeist brought by ChatGPT 😂
With that graphic, we will lose our eyes! No thx!
Needs to come to ps5
So this is what Cyberpunk 2077 should have been like.
I’m only a few hours in and get completely lost but I’m really enjoying it so far!
It just feels like I’m looking at a more colorful Dead Space
kudos to nightdive studios! well deserved!! continue the amazing work with those remades and remasters!!!
Legendary game
Shodan, the alternate Skynet
Is it just me or the quality of IGN reviews went up in the last month..
No one ever knows how to use the grenades in the og, but theyre still pretty powerful tools. Its just a shame that throwing in the og is a cryptic crap shot at best if theres anything but a clear los.
So glad this game worked out in the end, Took 8 years and 2 production resets but we got there in the end.
How many times has this game been released wtf
Wait this on my Xbox SS.
This is the sleepiest review I've ever heard.
I'm surprised there was no mention of BioShock in this, especially as you can see where it had its roots, and most people would never have played System Shock 1/2.
they chose the perfect time to remake this game. the narrative has probably never been more relative
When remakes are the best thing going in gaming today, you know that there’s a big problem with creative people today. They put artificial limitations on themselves, which is not what art is at all. Yes, games are art.
The game is absolutely fantastic! No hand holding, beautiful and yet somehow triggers those nostalgia receptors in the brain. Also the elevator music is banging!
Such a fantastic remake.
The enemy AI looks lame AF lol… they just walk slowly to you while you kill them easily…
This is exactly how you pull of a remake. Faithful to the original with a light fresh breeze of modernization
Plays great on Steam Deck too!
Now if you don’t mind please a console version.
