Those are connected to a large thin-film switch and a Konica-Minolta OLED lighting panel (which is now cut open but new ones are available at Mouser! ). Cool technology, which inuru has created here!

I think that is pronounced "iNuru" like in "iPhone". "Nuru" stands for light in Swahili. Probably where the company gets that name from. But I could be wrong. Nuru may mean something else in another language.
