5. I use my ipad air 4 as my computer all the time because i don't even have a computer. I don't feel like i'm missing out on anything and i can do everything i would want to do on my computer on my ipad. For writing documents, emails etc. i've got a bluetooth keyboard which is more than enough. I have a case for the ipad because then you can also make it stand on its own, which is really handy.
   So you certainly can use it as your main computer. Only if you would use your computer for playing big games or sth then i wouldn't recommend it, but otherwise it's in my opinion a good alternative.

10. You just further convinced me why I just bought an iPad Pro :). I LOVE the slate format! I did purchase a Magic Keyboard for protection and a keyboard if I need it.

12. I’m sorry that in that time, the magic keyboard wasn’t a thing + iPad OS 16 which gives you floating windows.

20. For designing work iPad Pro is great. I am an exterior car designer and I already have an iMac so I brought an iPad Pro with Apple Pencil as my go to designing and sketching device and the iMac for using 3d modeling software .
