These phones basically seem to be scams, right? The hardware is probably worth sub £100. On the whole if you're the kind of person who wants to de-google a phone, you're almost certainly capable of buying a device with better hardware, for less money, and manually removing what you want via custom firmware.
All you need now is the 'Mission Impossible' theme as ringtone……oh and a pair of dark 'CIA type' shades and you're good to go.

The Simple phone is an absolute ripoff. Get a OnePlus, Xiaomi, or Google (ironic, I know) phone, and flash AOSP, LineageOS, Linux, CalyxOS, etc on to it. There, you have a better privacy phone than the Simple Phone.
