Don't get me wrong, NHL is a phenomenal game however it doesn't deserve a yearly fee.
The new pregame animations are only for 6 teams and get played at random, hardly get to see them sadly.

Wow has this person played a previous NHL game? The first major push forward since 2014? The games have only gotten worse since then and the first games on PS4/XBONE were bare bones because they weren't ready for the new consoles. They are basically only glowing about better audio and video like they are jumping 2 generations and the difference is minuscule. They don't address many things that have plagued the series for years and didn't even touch an entire game mode. How they can justify giving this an 8/10 blows my mind.

If you’ve played any of the previous NHL games you would know that NHL 23 has improved basically nothing and it feels like playing the exact same game as the past 2 years.
