  1. It is easy to fix. Take a longer sample before taking action. Crashes and accidents do happen in an instant, roller-coaster takes longer. Interval of 10 seconds of sampling might do.

  2. This worked perfect for me when someone hit me side on when I was on my motorcycle. Kept hearing something going off and didn’t realise it was the crash detection

  3. Hm. I've had crash detection turned on in my Pixel 4XL for a couple of years. So Pixel phones have had it for a lot longer and I've never heard of this happening until Apple did it on their iPhone.

  4. I feel like the easiest way to fix this would be through the GPS feature. If the phone is detected near an amusement park then it shouldn't send one out.

  5. Honestly this was the first thing I thought when I was watching the Keynote like, “oh great, this shits gonna go off on Incredicoaster”

  6. The real question for me is if Pixels phones have had this for a while does it actually work? Did Google do something to prevent it detecting it’s on a roller coaster ? Seems like a comparison is required or is it because only 7 Pixels are sold each year 😂
