  1. The brightness was the same/identical for the two phones indoors because the level you are testing is the real scene 100% window brightness. Essentially this is the max brightness that the entire screen can go up to at once. Since you were on the white screen in the notes app, the screen recognizes the color is covering most of the display and is using 100% of the panel. The 2000 nits apple was referring to is actually the peak brightness which is different. Peak brightness refers to a usually 10% or 5% window of the display which can reach up to 2000 nits on its own. For example, if the sun in a video you're watching is in the top corner of the display, it will reach 2000 nits for the sun alone as it takes up less than a 10% window.

  2. Skipped the last half dozen already… best and smartest thing that I've ever done. The note, edge and fold… seriously next gen tech. I look at people using iphones like they're cassette tapes.

  3. Im still using XS Max so idk about the new ones, it doesn't seem promising judging from people's reactions, I'm gonna stick with what i have for now, I'll eventually change but probably iPhone 15 or 16 and that depends if they're going to change their approach with later models because i have to be honest I'm not impressed with 14, 13 is way better and cheaper

  4. Whoever's reading this I hope that whatever you're going through gets better and whatever you're struggling with or worrying about is gonna be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day! Amen
