  1. I’m still not sold, not because it’s electric. I’m not sold due to limited storage snd the hwy miles are still low for my use. I need a real SUV replacement.

  2. Sub $40,000? Don't think so. Just went on Hyundai's site and while it says "Starting MSRP $39,950" if you scroll down to the models; the base trim SE starts at "$44,000 Starting MSRP". Umm? Something not right?

  3. Petrol car owner : nice lets go for a road trip

Electric car owner : oh no my maps dont show charging point. My range is trash. Need to wait 2 hour to charge dayumm

  4. Saw a long term review of one, and the materials in the inside of the car had started to go from white to pink-ish from what they believed to be from the sunlight. So be aware that the interior isn't well made as much as it may be practical and well laid out

  5. Electric car is future but manifacturing causing a LOT more waste. Also electric isn't either nature friendly either. Electric car car batteries are especially containing lot of rare materials that are mostly gone in near future as they have to think better and cheaper way to make electric cars pretty soon. Also electric cars are soon more expensive to drive even than small gas cars when the electric tax and the cost itself goes up when nations aren't getting enough taxes on the gas. (Well some countries)

  6. Saw one of these parked in NYC a week before it's official announcement. Thought it was a movie prop for a sci-fi movie at first. The contours look sick in person

  7. If Hyundai keeps this up, I'm certain that soon we'll have more affordable EVs. Like, at the very least somewhere around the 30-35k USD range.

  8. I called my local Hyundai dealer to inquire about and order or "wait" time. Dude said "ya maybe it'll get here in 2025, I'll gladly take your $2000 to hold your place in line though"…

  9. It’s so funny people consider this an suv or crossover. It’s a hatchback, with like…a couple of inches of ground clearance over a regular hatch. Like even less than your average crossover.

  10. Your comparison to the Z Flip 4 is perfect. Yes, it is one of the least expensive options in a presently niche market (considering most people today still can't afford or would prefer gas-powered or hybrids over an EV).

  11. i hate when you drive around like this in your videos. Since im from the area (passaic park), i get distracted trying to figure out exactly where you are. "oh, thats rt 280 exit 15". and i miss a lot of what youre saying. lol

  12. I own one in white and I can say surely that it’s the weirdest looking car in a 5 mile radius. I had to get my windows tinted cause the looks people give me are distracting. 😂

  13. Lol, hopefully, the Ioniq won't burst into flames like the Santa Fe. 🤣 I think that is the reputation from which Hyundai needs to rebrand.

  14. Actually designing a park and ride in the city that will have 4 chargers of the 350KW stations. So I can say they are coming.

I also worked in QA testing for Hyundai's head units back as an intern and I can say, their maps always had problems, it was 1 step forward and 2 steps back all the time.

  15. Bi-directional charging needs to be a standard feature for any new EV going forward. Period. VTG (Vehicle to Grid) can do so much more than just simply provide a battery backup source for your home like the Ford Lightning advertises. The Ionic touches on this with their charging accessory.
If you decide to go with any standard metric on your reviewing of EVs going forward, I urge you to highlight when manufactures do this right VS omit this needed feature.
