Ethereum has absolutely zero use case. Betting on Ethereum to go to $100,000 is like betting on the price of gasoline to going to $100,000. It makes no fucking sense and at that price people will move on to a different technology.

But once they found valuable use cases, the seemingly "uphill battle" with coding language was broken in no time, millions of people learned to program on iOS.
Cardano (or other alts) having a different language than big daddy Ethereum is not necessarily detrimental. Of course nothing is guaranteed, but just saying you never know.
