The capitulation in prior cycles was during the bear cycle in which a new bull cycle followed. You are assuming that this drop was during a bear cycle and the peak in November of 2021 was not a subpeak but THE peak. I believe it was a subpeak and that's why the drop was not as severe as the 92%, 85% and 84% respectively, NOT because more people are holding and refusing to sell.
Further, it's illogical to say the capitulation during the current bear cycle (which I do not believe we are in) is not as severe as it used to be when the last capitulation during al bear cycle we had was 84% just one point shy of the bear cycle prior to that which was 85%. So by your logic, time has shown us that the history of bear cycle capitulations are less severe over time bc more people are holding? Going from 85% capitulation to 84%? Now this bear cycle all of a sudden is 54%? Highly doubtful. This was a MASSIVE correction, not a bear cycle capitulation. I still believe we are in a bull cycle and the final peak has yet to come.
