If they say inflation is coming down then they are cooking the books. Prices are still going up on most items especially energy, food, electronics, etc. What's really happening is people aren't spending their expendable income on misc items. Businesses aren't making rent, 70% of the people making 50K and under say they are having trouble meeting their basic bills. No idea how people can look around at what's going on and say "the economy is doing great! We just have a little inflation". Amazing how many times I've heard that.

Yesterday was the bottom? I'm not convinced, sure doesn't feel like we've hit bottom. We've seen these drops before as it trades sideways for a while and then drops further. Everything is still selling off and there seems to be no catalyst for a sustained rally from here at this time.
