Not even 3 seconds in and I'm already repeating the video. I just love how laugh
gaming journalism in general is a joke
Lmfao, I was watching that jeopardy episode with my gma the other might. Funniest shit I ever seen
Love it when Muda starts a video in Hindi.
I miss the days of Electronic Gaming Monthly.
You can’t spell ignorant without ign my boy you deserve a military discount for lifetime
That's the best first 10 seconds of a video I've ever watched. Your laugh is hilarious, I love the foreign speak, and the IGN Ignorant joke XD
IGN: Too much criticism, 7.8
Lol, Imagine just taking GPT-3 and having it submit like 500 articles a day for you.
The first game that puts in an actual "game journalist" difficulty is an instant buy for me
I saw a comment say " This is for College students who want a side gig" like this person doesn't understand how much time is spent prioritizing College work.
That’s why they were called GAmessages
since they bought humble bundle it shit everything that ign do is garbage
Water is wet
yeah, and water is wet. what else is new?
Water is wet
IGN is buzzfeed for gaming
I can blame them for not giving a fuck about the industry. If they want more than 20 bucks they should work at Walmart like the rest of us
the only good journalism these days, is coming from youtubers like you.
That explains these abysmal "reviews" the best journalism comes from good YouTube content creators.
I only watch IGN videos for Narz
Everyone knows the Pokemon review but I feel like we need to remember the Xenoblade Definitive Edition review that involved some idiot that had never even looked at the game complaining about everything while mispronouncing as many names as possible and then giving it like a 9/10.
"I havent seen this many 7/10 reviews since I watched Barstool Pizza channel" -IGN
from software games are only heard because they are clunky as fuck
im trying to play Elden Ring and the clunky ass controls get me killed all the time i try to target the big fucking monster that is in the middle of my screen yet for some dumb fucking reason it wants to target the little fucking rodent that is not even hostile on the side of my screen so my attacks do not hit the big fucking monster coming right at me and i die
WHY THE FUCK DOSE IT DO THAT
seriously im fighting the controls more then the enemy's hoping my character will do wat i want
seriously their games look next gen but play like PS1 games
"You can´t spell ignorang without IGN" infact you can´t xD
Awesome
im sure ign might have been cool at one point but that had to have been before i was born because i havent seen anything worthwhile from them since i started paying attention to this sort of thing
When it starts off with a muta laugh and some Hindi, I know it's gonna slap
Not to mention that by relying on freelancers they can get content while not having to pay then any benefits that contracted staff receive. Real cheapskate behaviour
As a british person, muta used the word sus correctly
mudda im a upcoming tuber,
teach me a couple of your inferior power of knowledge in your home language. We can stream it lol
I'm not surprised. If they really expect anything even remotely competent from someone who would accept 20 bucks for an entire article, they must be delusional.
It's no wonder games get ratings based on how hype people are for it. Imagine being told you're supposed to review a game that can have between 30 and hundreds of hours of potential playtime for a crisp cool twenty.
Yeah, if they're not already playing it out of personal interest, they're gonna phone it in.
If they're putting in the time required for a serious article they'll get paid like 10 cents an hour. At that rate they might as well visit granny and see if she needs her lawn mowed.
11:30 You forgot to blur the @
Thank you for putting the truth out there!
This is why i get my gaming news from youtube. The 2 channels i watch is Yong Yea and bellular news and they pretty much cover the all the relevant news in gaming.
IGN in 2000s/Eartly 2010s > IGN Now
I’ve always found mainstream game journalism to be stupid, they just hate-bait for clicks. 20 dollars a pop for an opinion article is brain dead. It’s honestly better for anyone who wants to make reviews and critiques for video games to make video essays on YouTube, I see guys like Joseph Anderson getting half a mil views on video essay reviews for games outside his usual open world rpg audience. Plus who really goes on IGN to find a review for a game, most people I know look it up on YouTube and watch the “Before you buy” video on it
I don't know about journalism but IGN sure had some beautiful hosts in the past
LMAOOOO THE INTRO IM DEAD
I’ve never thought how much muta makes because I truly believe he deserves every dollar that comes his way
I mean I kinda wonder how much do you earn to be able to build a PC that can virtualize Jesus Christ's consciousness.
sad that they even have a Grand Theft Auto V crew half of those members probably arent even working at ign
I almost thought he wasn't gonna say it is what it is
Lol 20$ for a basic news article??
I could set up a bot to give this shіt to OpenAi and automaticly spam this bullcrap and become a billionaire in no time.
edit: I just continued watching the video and realised you had the same idea lol
My goodness it would be good if you could be making that much on YouTube as a Canadian… Even in Canadian funds. I'd be happy to make coffee money putting a video out a week.
This is consistent with all types of niche journalism — people who are impassioned by whatever field (whether it be gaming, music, arts, etc.) will take lower wages for clout
