If BTC is now mirroring S&P… what's the point of even investing in BTC anymore? Capturing wider gains/losses maybe? For me, the interest in BTC was its intriguing difference, potential, and divergence from regular market prices. Sorta like dating I guess. Not saying I'm not currently invested in BTC, and won't buy more…but I am wondering at this time, what's the real point? This current sell-off isn't scaring me at all, but the prospect of BTC doing nothing different than the stock market does scare me. I can gain/lose 10% in 10k of BTC or 1% in $100k of the S&P simultaneously, as they both are dancing together in directional lockstep. If so, what's the real value of BTC now?

I dont agree with the sentiment that bitcoin follows the stock market. I think the stock market follows bitcoin instead. If the stock market also breaks its september low. Then I deserve credit for this.
