  1. That drone was a blast, I canโ€™t wait to see that when you come back up north. I have always loved and learned a ton from your underwater videos. I can definitely see you using this for blackfishing. Any target date for the return?

  2. The darker the snook the fresher the water it's been hanging out in. High salinity snook are super light. Enjoying your channel, I see you've got Snook, sheeps, tarpon, and redfish this winter here in SWFL, let me know if you want to get together sometime and I can show you the good time that is pompano on jigs. Or maybe head a little south for peacocks

  3. That is awesome. I'm going to check these out, though I'm sure they're not at all cheap…

I just picked up the dar matter rod.. shortly after I got called to cover 15 more hours at work, but ill test it eventually…

A couple things, and I'm not convinced i will actually get a response.. The larger eyelets, are they so that it will accommodate a shock leader? Also. The rating is 1-3oz (something that I wish JandH would list on their website along with other specs..) have you tried casting 3/4oz bucktails with it? Does it fair well?

I've also purchased your striper pursuit book and a saltstrong membership for some pointers as I'm fishing the jersey shore and just keep getting skunked.

  4. fun toy, good place to have one. John on another channel someone flounder fishing saw a pod of dolphin in back waters of little neck bay this week….not sure what that means for bait fish..but rather early in ny.

  5. My wife is on line as we speak! She's convinced that if she fits one of those gizzmoes to my tin bath, she'll be able to PROVE that I don't wash properly between my toes! Thanks John๐Ÿ˜

  6. I just asked a marine biologist friend about the snook and she said quote "Fishes will be diff color depending on their particular environ.
It could be te temp or the salinity or pH of the water or even how much the sunlight penetrates the water. Also, could be the components of the water they live in have an effect also."

  7. Some snook might be darker than others because they spend more time in the brackish waters, but I'm no marine biologist.

  8. ๐Ÿ˜‚ just never know what you will see when you put a camera down! I agree with your reply to another comment that the weight should be just a regular sinker with breakaway ability.

  9. I was laughing when you opened the box and the first item we see are the directions and like all men we just toss them aside! Then later you say, umm no sound? I guess that is why this is silent? LMAO!! Can't wait to see this in full action while casting to the already positioned drone!

  10. None the less those where some got shots.. Can't wait for you to set up the drone by a dock.. you spot lock about 25ft from the dock, cast a jigg down there and actually watch the fish hit the jigg.. im on standby.. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

  11. wow very cool… mark my words… john skinner world record tautog caught off montauk! john skinner world record flounder caught off montauk…
