What a waste of effort to film it in 360. They should have had multiple scenes going on simultaneously instead of just having one focal scene throughout this short. This would have viewers rewatch this over and over again to paint a complete picture. The script was great, but the effort was pointless. It would have been just as effective if the director dictated what the viewers see. They could have done a montage. Instead of scenes fading into each other, all the scenes are shown overlapping each other in a room. This could have replaced the dancing scene. Or while Shayla was talking, Elliot could narrate another memory he is reminded of at the pier which we the viewer could watch by panning around.

Seeing this again after three years and it's no less poignant and heartwrenching to watch/listen to.
I never saw this until the series ended tonight. Awesome! Up there with Battlestar Galactica (2004-2009) and Breaking Bad. Wow!

Sam Esmail's a genius
"Like dreams almost; you only get pieces..". i'm a lucid dreamer which is a fancy way of saying: light sleeper/can control my dreams. i wake up a lot like Elliot did. Except, if i don't want a dream to end, i go "back in" & replay it on a loop like he did. i'm not bragging bc i never really sleep, so i've had baggy eyes since..always, lol. This was great. We need one of these quarterly so we're not ready to claw out our eyes waiting for the next season!
So until season 4 comes out this fall or upcoming summer I'm just gonna watch the entire series over and get more information and feel noglastic
