Plus, the usual naturally aspirated 3.5L V6 outputs 285 horsepower, though it is now matched to a classic ZF 9-speed automatic instead of a CVT.

Facelifted a couple of years ago, 2022 Nissan Patrol Nismo now arrives in a performance-ready Nismo modification. The model boasts improved aerodynamics, new 22-inch wheels, tweaked chassis with Bilstein shock absorbers, and finally, a more powerful 5.6-litre V8 with428 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of peak torque.

NISSAN used to make good cars back in the 1990s but not anymore . . . that durable yet premium feel was something unique only to NISSAN . . . remember the super reliable (literally bomb proof) NISSAN Patrol GR 4WD + 3.0 in. Lift 2.8 TDI I4 5-Dr SUV (RHD) of the mid 1990s that would go on & on even after clocking a million miles . . . the NISSAN Patrol GR 4WD + 3.0 in. Lift 2.8 TDI I4 5-Dr SUV (LHD) & NISSAN Patrol GU 4WD + 3.0 in. Lift 2.8 TDI I4 5-Dr SUV (RHD) became the official mission despatch vehicle for the United Nations in 1995 . . . merging with RENAULT may have saved NISSAN from extinction but only just . . .
