  1. I remember watching the movie "The Lawnmower Man" in the theater back in 1992 and thinking "wow!! any day now we are all going to have VR headsets!"

  2. I'm a very big VR enthusiast and I had to write a text about a hobby/interest of mine in german, so I decided to write about the history of VR, I took this video as inspiration/source. Thank you:)

  3. It still blows my mind that I'm alive when this technology started blowing up and is at a state that you can walk into a store and buy vr for the standard price of a gaming console.

I'm looking forward to see where it goes in the next 10 years

  4. As a "Windows Mixed Reality" headset owner (the white Dell version) I can say that while they are not the best headsets and still have odd tracking issues with the controllers occasionally, they are capable of playing everything from Beatsaber to Halflife Alyx, and I've had a lot of fun doing so, it's bitten me with the VR Bug for good, I'm working on saving up for a Valve Index to upgrade my setup.

VR is finally here, and it's deffinitly here to stay, and we're deffinitly working our way to a full on gaming / working reality where VR is a permanent part of our experience.

  5. The first time I played vr chat with a friend I met the mini knuckles and learned about "da way" seeing the meme become popular a few days later was cool.

  6. in the 90's in the uk resorts there was a flight simulator where u sat in a furturistic cockpit with a helmet on and hotas . this blew my mind as a kid and was very blocky but great fun. I also did some VR in Japan in 1996 as well this was more tron like but awesome. Great vid
