1. Until the Vive Pro changes their Fresnel lenses to a decent glass lens with a larger sweet spot they'll not get my money.

2. Ive watched a couple of these videos now and they all mention the superior tracking to the HP Reverb, but can you go more in depth on this? What tracking issues does the reverb face? Is it still better than gen 1 VR headsets like the Vive? Or is the tracking worse yet than that? thx

10. I also just got the Vive Pro 2, set it up, got the wireless adapter connected and everything, the htc connection unity detects the headset but the vive console does not and dont know what to do. I have contacted vive myself and now just waiting for a response..

13. I genuinely don't understand why some people praise the audio of this device… I find it to be a MAJOR step down from my Index (although, to be fair, my Index is broken and Valve has awful support, so I do not recommend this device to anyone).
    It's so bad at this point that I'm contemplating using my own headphones with the unit, which is going to be clunky, but it will make beat saber a lot more fun.
    To add, the visual is more than a small bump up. It's worth buying over the index for this reason, even if your hardware hasn't failed like mine.

14. foe 2 valve base stations and controllers and the vive pro 2 you can buy a valve index vr kit with half life alyx for like 300 pounds cheaper

    Speaking about vive pro 2 itself, even tho the upgrade from the original vive pro isnt so spectacular, seems like its easily better option than both valve index and G2, especially for the ppl who just starting with VR. Im think im another one that HTC catch and gonna oreder it in next days. And i rly hope that wont be a waste of money…

19. Do you know when the full kit is releasing by any chance? Since i’m interested in the headset but i did not own the previous vive pro and since it is only the headset right now, i cannot buy it.

20. All these reviews are always talking about vr games. Like who the fuck is paying $1200 (full kit with sensors) to play fucking beat saber??? It should be telling enough that most reviews from years ago still reference that crap game because good new games are so rare. 30. So I've been looking at VR headsets for a while and I was thinking hp reverb g2 and getting index controllers and base stations. Would you say getting that over the vive pro 2? Also my computer specs
    Mobo: x570 msi Meg unify
    Cpu: 3700x
    Ram 32gb 3200mhz gskill royalz
    Gpu: 3060ti

34. I just got vive pro 2, i have both pros installed on my pc right now and switching between them. Pro 2 fov is very weird, that letterbox view takes lot from immersion away, Pro has better fov on my opinion. Its kind of nasty feeling that i might go use Pro instead of Pro 2. Image clarity is hard to notice because sweetspot is so small, you have to tighten headset with glue on your face to get playable sweetspot and even then its not perfect. Vertical fov on my pro 2 is definelty smaller than on Pro, feels almost i got an faulty unit.

36. So didnt you have the terrible Pixel column banding?Alot off people have this now..But htc dont seems to care and dont reply to us on the vive forum.. When you move your head you see terrible scanlines..It wasnt there in the beginning!

39. I had a GREAT time playing through Alyx on my Quest 2 via VDAirlink. It looked awesome, even though it's being compressed and the visuals are lower…it's still awesome. I've played all the AAA, AA titles out there and i won't be upgrading with any current new gen HMD right now. i'll wait for the NEXT gen and hopefully more AAA titles to come.
