You guys should check out the comma sell driving module. Add it to your car and as long as it's supported, meaning the car has some way of controlling the steering wheel it will be able to self drive your car. The lastest model is the Comma 3. Retails for a little over $2k. That's cheaper than the $10k that Tesla charges.

Roadwayve – a similar idea was featured in one of the first episodes of tommorows world i think in 1965, it was a light up sign that said many thanks that mounted in rear window and remote controlled by driver, not bad for 56 years ago.
Using the first item in the UK or Europe would involve using your mobile phone while driving. That makes it illegal to use in these countries… I'm guessing a lot more too!

Do NOT now or Ever use the Door Step. It will absolutely RUIN your car. Those posts are not meant to be used for Anything other than to secure the latch on your door and keep the door shut as well as hold the door secure in a collision. If you step on it, you will bend the thin sheet metal around it and it will cause the door to be mis-aligned and not shut properly as well as not secure the door. In a collision, the metal may be fatigued already and Fail to secure the door, causing more damage to the vehicle, and even worse, the occupants inside.
